Perk Valley jumped out to a 2-0 lead against their nemesis Owen J Roberts in this crucial hockey contest but couldn’t hold the lead as the Wildcats stormed back for a hard earned championship win. Roberts was paced by Charles Davis’ three goals while PV was led by Johnathan Waters two tallies. OJR outshot Perk Valley 25-22 shots on goals.

Unionville’s Isabella Wilkins celebrates a goal with a team mate as Kingsway Sara Durso looks on. After a scoreless first period, Unionville put up four goals in the last two periods as Olivia Riggs scored twice and fellow skaters kalynn freeman and Lily Robitzer scored one apiece for the winners.

West Chester East’s Michael and Joseph Cardarelli each scored two goals apiece putting the Vikings up 4-0 early over West Chester Rustin enroute to winning the ChesMont Championship last night at Ice Line in West Chester.
The contest was eventually halted at 6:10 sec of the third period when the Vikes scored their tenth goal of the game. East, which came into the game unbeaten and in fact, hadn’t lost a game since 2020 and had more shots on goal than the Knights at 39-15.

PennHaven held a 1-0 lead on West Chester Henderson’s Girls Varsity Ice Hockey Team and kept the pressure on allowing just one goal by Henderson as time ran out in regulation. In the overtime period West Chester scored on a goal by Morgan Hendler to give Henderson the Girls National League Championship. Cassidy Yaun and Morgan Hendler were the scoring for Henderson tallying one goal apiece.

The Unionville High’s Boys Ice Hockey Team simply couldn’t find any rhythm against a very talented West Chester East Team falling by a score of 11-3. East appears to have the momentum of making a deep run in the post season playoffs this year.

Bux-Mont Catholic dropped a hard fought game against an Arch Bishop Carroll team that appeared to have all of their members back from a short hiatus a few weeks ago. The Catholics were within a few shots that clanked off the goal frame from making this a real nail biter for Carroll.

Andrew Knight, Tucker Graham and Colin French led the way for Radnor scoring all seven goals for Radnor with Knight tallying three of them and Graham and French two apiece. For Great Valley, Max Stewart, Leo Johnson and Ryan Magargal tallied all of Great Valley Phoenixville’s goals. Coach Tim Brown appears to have his club turning on all cylinders for the upcoming playoff push in roughly two weeks.
